The Chair introduced the item and noted that  the application relating to St Marys Church has been withdrawn and an additional 2 applications had been received as tabled in the supplementary papers which have been circulated to members and published on the Councils website.

Whetstone – Love Whetstone Christmas Tree – Liron Woodcock-Velleman

Councillor Liron Woodcock-Velleman gave a verbal representation in support of the application.

RESOLVED that the North Area Committee having considered the application decided to award funding fully for £4,000 and any conditions attached noting the implications to the Committee’s NCIL funding budget.

High Barnet – High Barnet High Street Festive Lights – Emma Whysall

Councillor Paul Edwards gave a verbal representation in support of the application on behalf of Councillor Emma Whysall.

RESOLVED that the North Area Committee having considered the application decided to award funding fully for £4,152 and any conditions attached noting the implications to the Committee’s NCIL funding budget.

East Barnet – New signs for East Barnet Village - Edith David

Councillor Phil Cohen gave a verbal representation in support of the application on behalf of Councillor Edith David.

East Barnet – Oakhill Park Fencing – Simon Radford

Councillor Phil Cohen gave a verbal representation in support of the application on behalf of Councillor Simon Radford.

RESOLVED that the North Area Committee having considered the application decided to award funding fully for £20,610  on the condition that the leases of leaseholders are reviewed and responsibility of the maintenance of the fencing will sit with the Council noting the implications to the Committee’s NCIL funding budget.
