Following discussions, the Committee voted on the officer recommendation to approve consent for the reasons set out in the report, addendum and amended wording to condition 6 as follows.

 

a) The temporary tree protection measures shown in the Arboricultural Report by Frank Parsons Arboriculturist (24th March 2023) hereby approved are to be erected around existing trees on site prior to the installation of the air source heat pump and air-conditioning units and landscaping works to the rear, side patio and main entrance. The protection specified in Arboricultural Report by Frank Parsons Arboriculturist (24th March 2023) shall remain in position until after these works are completed and no material or soil shall be stored within fenced areas and/or construction exclusion zones at any time. These works shall be implemented in accordance with the protection plan and method statement as approved.

 

b) Prior to installation of the air conditioning units’ details of the service run location and excavation shall be submitted and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority, these services shall be installed in accordance with the submitted arboricultural method statement.

 

c) Prior to the implementation of any soft landscaping within the RPA of any trees shown to be retained, details of the landscaping and any level changes shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority.
