zebra crossing request outside sparklers nursery on orange hill road
We the undersigned petition the council to Install a zebra crossing outside sparklers nursery on orange hill road. The road has parked cars constantly to the right which restricts the view for pedestrians crossing. It is already a dangerous crossing and when crossing with young chdren outside the nursery it is worse. Drivers speed around this area regardless and it is unfair to put children in this dangerous situation, as well as other pedestrians.
Install the zebra crossing to make drivers further aware to slow down. Especially in bad weather conditions! The roundabout on orange hill is dangerous enough due to the cars coming from all angles but when the crossing is not clear ourselves and our children are endangered. Drivers drive too fast down these surrounding roads and as pedestrians collecting our young children from the nursery we suffer. View is aldo restricted due to parked cars.
