Hendon Lane has become busier than ever with drivers constantly disregarding the speed notification signs already in situ.

As the Police and Ambulance Services will confirm, there have been many accidents in Hendon Lane - and even a death - which have caused the road to be closed for many hours.

Because of the speeding traffic, pedestrians are in peril when walking on the pavements along this route.
