1.    PARKING PETITION FROM THE RESIDENTS OF STATION ROAD AND STATION CLOSE: SUBMITTED BY RACHAEL COLEMAN

The Chairman referred the petition up to the Finchley and Golders Green Area Committee for consideration, as the petition requires funding.

 

2.    PETITION TO BARNET COUNCIL BY RESIDENTS OF TEMPLE GARDENS FOR INCREASE IN HOURS OF THE CPZ PARKIN ZONE IN OUR STREET ONLY, N11 OLL: SUBMITTED BY HELEN FRY.

The Chairman referred the petition up to the Finchley and Golders Green Area Committee for consideration, as the petition requires funding.

4.    HEDGES NEED PRUNING ON CAUSEWAY, N2: SUBMITTED BY RALPH ESCHWEGE

The Forum noted the Officer’s response in the issues list.

 

5.    FLOW OF TRAFFIC IN HOLDERS HILL ROAD: SUBMITTED BY ELIZABETH COHEN

The Forum noted the Officer’s response in the issues list.

7.    FINCHLEY CENTRAL DRAFT TOWN STRATEGY CONSULTATION: SUBMITTED BY MARY OCONNOR

The Resident’s Forum heard an oral representation by Mary O’Connor in respect of the issue. 

 

The Chairman noted the issue raised, and no further action was required.

8.    JUNCTION OF GOLDERS GREEN ROAD: SUBMITTED BY MR LEVY

The Resident’s Forum heard an oral representation by Mr Levy in respect of the issue.  The Chairman noted the issue and response, no further action was required.

 

9.    RESURFACING IN ABBOTS GARDENS: SUBMITTED BY RALPH ESCHWEGE

The Forum noted the Officer’s response in the issues list.

 

10.FINCHLEY CHURCH END NAME CHANGE: SUBMITTED BY MARY OCONNOR

The Resident’s Forum heard an oral representation by Mary O’Connor in respect of the issue. 

 

Councillor Old (Ward member for Finchley Church End) gave a verbal response to the resident in regard to the issue and noted some residents’ concern over the name change. Councillor Old noted that residents could contact Ward Members to discuss these concerns.

 

11.RESURFACING OF GOLDERS GREEN ROAD (A502): SUBMITTED BY MR LEVY

The Resident’s Forum heard an oral representation by Mr Levy in respect of the issue. 

 

The Chairman requested the Commissioning Director for Environment notify the Chairman and Mr Levy directly once the investigation of the bus stop has been carried out.

14.MISSING METAL SHAFT COVERS IN HIGH STREETS: SUBMITTED BY MR LEVY

The Resident’s Forum heard an oral representation by Mr Levy in respect of the issue. 

 

Mr Levy was encouraged to provide photographs of the exact location of missing metal shaft covers. The Chairman advised that the matter would be brought to the attention of ward members for further consideration.

 

15.ARTICLE 4 FINCHLEY CHURCH END: SUBMITTED BY MARY O’CONNOR

The Resident’s Forum heard an oral representation by Mary O’Connor in respect of the issue. 

 

The Forum noted the Officer’s response in the issues list.

 

16.PCN TO VEHICLES TO PARKED ACROSS DROP KERBS: SUBMITTED BY MR LEVY

The Resident’s Forum heard an oral representation by Mr Levy in respect of the issue. 

 

The Chairman requested a further response from Officers on the matter of parking in locations with now redundant/archaic drop kerbs. The Chairman requested a written response be provided to the Chairman and Mr Levy.

 

17.CONSULTATION FINCHLEY CENTRAL DRAFT TOWN CENTRE STRATEGY: SUBMITTED BY MARY OCONNOR

The Resident’s Forum heard an oral representation by Mary O’Connor in respect of the issue. 

 

Councillor Old (Ward Councillor) said that Transport For London was aware of the issues, but have yet to suggest improvements.

 

18.UNNECESSARY IDLING ACROSS LONDON: SUBMITTED BY MR LEVY

The Resident’s Forum heard an oral representation by Mr Levy in respect of the issue. 

 

The Chairman requested that the Commissioning Director for Environment   contact the Metropolitan Police directly to provide a response of the issue and this be communicated back directly to the Chairman and Mr Levy.

 

The Chairman also asked for the Commissioning Director for Environment to provide a written response to Mr Levy in relation Barnet Enforcement Officers being tasked with enforcement action for vehicle owners that idle  their car engine..

 

19. STREET BINS OVERFLOWING: SUBMITTED BY MARY OCONNOR

The Resident’s Forum heard an oral representation by Mary O’Connor in respect of the issue. 

The Chairman suggested Mary O’Connor notify her Ward Member about where these bins are located. The Councillor can then assist with ensuring these bins are emptied.   Mary O’Connor was encouraged to report any issues with bins to the Council. 

It was noted that postcodes are placed on bins, in order to clarify the location when reporting issues.

 

20.BARNET.FIXMYSTREET WITH REPORT-A-PROBLEM: SUBMITTED BY MR LEVY.
