Minutes:

Councillor Caroline Stock and Councillor Val Duschinsky made a non-pecuniary declaration in relation to item 10.   It was noted that both Councillor are Trustees of Darlands Nature Reserve.  Both Councillors took part in the consideration and voting process.

Issue 1 -  Junction of Tretawn Gardens and Marsh Hill

 

The Chair introduced the item in the absence of the resident.

·        That the committee noted the issue

·        Decided that a Road Safety and Parking issue be referred to the Director of Highways & Transport

 

 

Issue 2 - Faded yellow line - Island/roundabout at the bottom of East View

Issue 3 - Dangerous Speeding Vehicles - Dollis Road (between the BP garage and the viaduct)

 

The Chair introduced the item in the absence of the resident.

 

The Committee noted that a site visit was to take place week beginning 30 January 2023.

Minutes:

Traffic Calming Measures in York Road, EN5

 

The Chair noted that the petition had been received and therefore invited the lead petitioner to make a representation.   The Committee heard a verbal representation from the lead petitioner.

 

 The Committee noted that 99 signatures had been collected. 

 

Having considered the petition the Committee:

 

Resolved:

·                   That the Petition be noted

·                   Refer the matter to a chief officer to provide a written response to the Lead Petitioner within 20 working days.

 

 

Controlled Parking Zone extension in the Barnet Hospital Area

 

The Chair noted that the petition had been received and therefore invited the lead petitioner to make a representation. The Committee heard a verbal representation from the lead petitioner.

 

The Committee noted that the consultation period had expired on 25 January 2023.  It was noted that Officers would review the responses received.   It was noted that the petition would be included in the consultation.   The Committee noted that Ward Members and residents would be considered before any decisions are taken.

·                   The Committee requested that the petition be included in the consultation

The Assistant Director Greenspaces & Leisure introduced the report.

 

 

Having considered the report the Committee:

 

Resolved:

 

1. That the North Area Committee noted the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) funding available for allocation during 2022/23, as set out in paragraph 7.2.2 of this report and in Appendix 1.

2. That the North Area Committee noted the CIL amount and re-allocated underspends & overspends in paragraph 2.1 of this report

3. That the North Area Committee noted the Road Safety & Parking Fund available for allocation during 2022/23 in paragraph 7.2.5 of this report and as set out in Appendix 2.
