Hendon Residents Forum 18th October 2017 Minutes:

The Chairman noted the poor attendance by residents at the meeting.

 

1)    Issue: Rubbish at the back of properties at 49-57 Church Road in Ravenshurst Avenue, Hendon, NW4

Due to the absence of the resident and thus no debate ensuing, the Chairman noted the response by Officers and no further action was requested.

 

2)    Issue: Rectify the state of the pavements in Upcroft Avenue, off Hale Lane, Edgware.

3)    Issue: Vandalism against shops on Mill Hill Broadway, Mill Hill, NW7

A representative for Mr Logue attended the meeting and asked the Lead Officer to clarify whether these acts of vandalism were being treated by the Council as a priority.

 

The Lead Officer explained that there are different priorities Borough wide and locally, but that these acts of vandalism had been investigated and arrests made. The Lead Officer explained that the information from CCTV systems was shared with the Police and moreover the systems had been upgraded and that a viewing platform had now been installed in Colindale Police Station to ensure fast access to the Police was available.

 

The Lead Officer said that to counter the negative perception of residents, more would be done in the future to communicate to residents and shop owners that the Council was proactively tackling crime.

 

The Chairman noted the response and no further action was requested.

 

4)    Controlled Parking Zones (CPZ) Ravenhurst Avenue,Hendon, NW4
