Councillor Ross Houston, Deputy Leader & Cabinet Member for Homes and Regeneration presented the report.

Officers noted a correction to the savings figures under sections 5.5 and 5.6 of the report and noted that the net savings figures are currently higher than reported. It was agreed that the updated figures would be circulated to Cabinet Members for information.

DECISION:

RESOLVED:

1. Noted and approved the amendments to the Private Sector Housing Financial Assistance Policy 2017 (which will be referred to as the amended policy once approved).
2. Delegated approval of any further policy amendments in relation to the maximum assistance levels to the Executive Director-Growth in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Homes and Regeneration.

The report set out the options considered, if any, and the reasons for the recommendations and the decision.
