Purpose:

Summary

The Policy and Resources Committee agreed the procurement of the Direct Payments Payroll Support Services described in this report within the Council’s Annual Procurement Forward Plan 2023-24 on 22nd February 2023.

 

The service was put out to tender on 28th February 2024 and following the procurement process, has identified that the contract is awarded to Barrie BookKeeping & Payroll Solutions Ltd. The contract term is for three years (3) with the option to extend for a further period of up to two years subject to budget constraints and performance.The estimated value of the contract is up to £100,000 per year (overall £500,000 contract value), but the Authority gives no guarantees and makes no representations on the volume or frequency of the services or the value of the contract as use of the services will be determined by DP recipients.
