Cabinet Member for Customer Access and Partnerships

Description

To lead on budget and policy formulation and implementation in relation to:

First class Customer Services, including development of: customer access, partnerships, the Local Strategic Partnership, Information Technology

In particular, this portfolio holder is responsible for the development of partnerships to further the Council’s Corporate Plan and the Sustainable Community Strategy, and an effective consultation structure.

The Cabinet Member for Customer Access and Partnerships is also tasked with:

·         Sharing opportunities and responsibilities through work with partners.

·         To lead on the development and delivery of the One Barnet Programme.

·         Leading on budget and policy formulation and implementation in relation to all operational aspects of the library service.

·         The distribution of all grants, except those relating to the adaptation of properties in the private sector, after consultation with appropriate portfolio holders.

·         All matters relating to the provision of services under the Leisure Contract.

·         Having responsibility for the New Support and Customer Service Organisation Project

·         Being involved in and promoting discussions in relation to any matters within the portfolio.
