Better Cycling in Barnet
We the undersigned petition the council to - improve road design to become more cycle-friendly
- eliminate parked cars in major roads in the borough such as Grahame Park Way to ensure cyclists' safety
- work with other councils (i.e. Brent, Harrow, Camden, Westminster) to improve cycling environment along the A5
- lobby TfL about the potential to re-assess the feasbility of LCN route 5 and extend the current Q5 and CS8
- support and lobby TfL's planned CS11 and work with Camden to extend CS11 from Swiss Cottage across the A41
Barnet has often been dubbed as the worst borough for cyclists. Many in the cycling community in Barnet long hoped for a feasible route for commuting to Central London or simply a nice ride during good days. Our neighbouring councils like Harrow and Camden have already significantly improved
