Ashmole Primary School: Travel Safety Measures
We the undersigned petition the council to Put in place travel safety measures around the vicinity of Ashmole Primary School, including:
a) a zebra crossing across Arlington Road, where it meets Summit Way;
b) a 20mph zone;
c) signs about the primary school and the need for vehicles to slow down;
d) ensuring that the pavements do not present trip hazards.
We have the full support of Ashmole Primary School.
The purpose of the petition is to request that the Council put in place appropriate travel safety measures in the vicinity of Ashmole Primary School to ensure child safety.
This should be carried out quickly, owing to the immediate need to implement these measures, and the importance of children's safety.
I am a parent of a pupil in Reception, and am a local resident.
