We oppose any closure & removal of Burnt Oak Library
We the undersigned petition the council to We do not agree with proposals to close Burnt Oak Library and move it to the new Link Housing development on the site of the old timber yard.
Burnt Oak library is much used and loved and provides vital, fully accessible, services including a wide range of advice and help via Boost. Knocking down Burnt Oak library to build houses, and building a new library from scratch on the site of the old rimber yard, will involve the release and use of thousands of tons of CO2 and completely unecessary spending.
