Council decisions

To report and authorise the Council (LBB) entering into the Settlement Agreement with North London Waste Authority (NLWA) and London Energy (previously London Waste Limited) in relation to the land which forms part of the land comprising The London Borough of Barnet (Brent Cross Cricklewood) Compulsory Purchase Order (No. 3) 2016 to secure the delivery of the Thameslink Station and continued regeneration of the Brent Cross Cricklewood.  The Agreement facilitates the relocation of NLWA/London Energy from their existing Hendon Waste Transfer site  to the east of the Midland Main Line to a new road based Waste Transfer Station at Geron Way. Following exchange, NLWA/London Energy will withdraw its objections to the CPO.

The ARG Committee agreed, at its meeting on 12 December 2016, to note the development of a community co-designed masterplan and authorise procurement of the required multi-disciplinary professional team, including masterplanning and design services. Following completion of the procurement exercise, this report seeks approval to appoint Allies and Morrison for the provision of masterplanning services.

Authorisation to proceed with a contract award to Allies and Morrison Limited, the successful tenderer, for the provision of Upper and Lower Foster Masterplanning for RIBA stages 1-3 and subject to further approval up to and including RIBA Stage 7

This report authorises the hire of the Clayton Crown Moran Hotel (the ‘Venue’) through a single tender option to act as the venue for the Brent Cross Cricklewood Compulsory Purchase Order 3 (from here on referred to as CPO3) Inquiry taking place from 5^th – 15^th September, 2017. This report is required for audit purposes.
