Decisions of the Hendon Residents Forum

1.    Issue: North Circle metal bridge

Submitted by :Mr Kiril Dinkov

 

The Chairman noted the response provided by Officers which states that an assessment would be undertaken. No further action was requested.

 

2.    Issue: Fly tipping on corners of Bertram Road, Audley Road, Graham Road and Sevington Road

Submitted by: Mrs P. Patel

 

The Forum noted the response provided by the Community Safety Team and no further action was requested.

 

3.    Petition: Parking around Colindale

Lead Petitioner: Mr Paul Chu

 

Mr Paul Chu presented his petition to the Forum and noted the response provided by the Highways Team. The Forum noted that the Consultation is ongoing and Officers provided the contact details for the Consultation to Mr Chu.

 

It was RESOLVED that the request for implementing a Keep Clear / Yellow box road markings at junction with Ajax Ave, Guardian Ave and Charcot Road be referred to the Hendon Area Committee. 

 

4.    Petition: Prince of Wales Close

Lead Petitioner: Sharon Rind

 

The Chairman noted that the Lead petitioner will be informed of the decision and invited to attend the Hendon Area Committee meeting. It was RESOLVED that the petition be referred to the Hendon Area Committee for consideration.

 

5.    Issue: Speed reducing measures Uphill Road, NW7

Submitted by: Mr John Gillett

 

The Forum noted the response and no further action was requested.

 

6.    Issue: Tarmac on pavements

Submitted by: Mr Richard Logue

 

The Forum noted the response and no further action was requested.

 

7.    Issue: Zebra-crossing on Greyhound Hill

Submitted by: Mr Gerrard Roots  

 

Mr Roots presented his issue and noted that the location of the Zebra crossing is unsafe. Officers noted that safety audits have been carried out before installation of the Zebra crossing. It was RESOLVED that Officers contact Mr Roots within 20 working days with further information and details of any safety reports carried out for the chosen location of the Zebra crossing. 

 

8.    Issue: Traffic flow on Station Road and A41, Hendon Central

Submitted by: Mr Levy

 

The Chairman invited Mr Levy to present his issue. It was RESOLVED that Officers contact Mr Levy within 20 working days as part of the survey process in order for comments to feed into the decision-making process and to be kept informed as part of the TfL discussions.

 

9.    Issue: Fly-tipping

Submitted by: Mr Richard Logue  

 

Mr Logue presented his issue to the Forum which centred around measures taken to address fly-tipping.  It was RESOLVED that Officers from the Community Safety Team contact Mr Logue within 20 working days on what measures are taken to communicate information on penalties as deterrent measures against fly-tipping.

 

10.Issue: Impact of the extended 125 bus route

Submitted by: Mr Gerrard Roots

 

Mr Roots introduced his submitted issue and noted the response from Officers. He expressed concerns about increased traffic due to the new 125 Bus route and that there was no pedestrian crossing at the intersection of Church End and Church Road. It was RESOLVED that Officers contact Mr Roots within 20 working days to provide a follow up response. 

 

11.Issue: Confusingly marked parking space in Wilberforce Road

Submitted by: Mr Levy

 

Mr Levy noted the response provided and queried whether a consultation was carried out in regard to the yellow line extension into the parking bay. It was RESOLVED that officers contact Mr Levy within 20 working days to provide further details and information in relation to his original and additional questions.

 

12.Dual carriageway between Grove Gardens NW4 and scrap metal recycling depot on Colindeep Lane (A5150)

The Forum noted the response provided by Officers and no further action was requested.
