RESOLVED – That under Section 100A (4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the public be excluded from the meeting for the below item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 1 & 2 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act (as amended).

Appointment of Chief Executive

RESOLVED

 

1.1             That Mr Andrew Travers be appointed as Chief Executive and Head of Paid Service.

 

1.2             That the appointment be subject to the clearance of satisfactory employment checks.

 

1.3             That under Article 4.02 of the Council’s Constitution, the appointment is submitted to full Council for confirmation.
