RESOLVED - That the minutes of the meeting of the Licensing Committee held on 11 July 2012 were approved as a correct record.

Minutes:

RESOLVED – That the Committee approved the draft classification policy for consultation and that the Officers be instructed to report to the next licensing committee on the outcome for recommendation to Council.

Gambling Statement of Principles pdf icon PDF 424 KB

RESOLVED –

 

1)         That the Committee approved the proposed Gambling Statement of Principles and recommend it for adoption as policy by full Council in January 2013 so it can be published on or before 13 January 2013 in accordance with the Gambling Act 2005.

 

2)      That the Committee approved that the resolution not to license casinos be reaffirmed and recommended to full Council for adoption of policy.

 

3)      That the Committee instruct the relevant Officer to investigate the Licensing conditions that relate to children under the age of 18 being within the premises of the Beacon Bingo Hall.

RESOLVED –

 

That the Licensing Committee approved the adoption of Section 27 of the Policing and Crime Act 2009 and recommend its adoption by the Council at the meeting on 22 January 2013

Minutes:

RESOLVED –

 

1)      That the Committee approved the draft sex establishment and sex entertainment venue policy for consultation and that Officers be instructed to report to the next Licensing Committee meeting on the outcome of the consultation for its recommendation to Council.

 

2)      That the Committee approved that the consultation be drafted so that it particularly seeks views on the definition of the area which will be considered as a relevant locality.
